PROPERTY DETAILS: Surrounded by Aspens and Pines, this 5 bedroom, loft, 3 bath home has the room, location, and all the luxuries you'd expect from a Holiday House. Situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by forestland ,outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling are literally out the back door.  Skiing is just 5 miles to Northstar Ski Resort, and within 20 minutes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Mount Rose and Diamond Peak. In the summertime, one of the best beaches at Lake Tahoe is only 10 minutes away, along with stores and Lake front restaurants that you can buoy up to for a quick bite. Music, nightlife and gambling can be found at the casinos a short drive away. The house was designed to accommodate family gatherings or large groups. An open floor plan makes the "great room" uncompromising. As you walk in the front door, you'll be greeted by 22-foot cathedral windows overlooking the sunny wrap around deck. The living area has overstuffed furniture with large fireplace and brick hearth. There is lots of room here to socialize or enjoy the TV on 120 channel satellite. The dining area has a large dining table with 12 chairs next to two sliding glass doors that exit out to a deck with covered hot tub. The hot tub can accommodate 8 with lounger and super jets. The kitchen overlooks the dining and living area and has a countertop with bar stools and upgraded appliances. The kitchen is equipped with pine cabinets, and all the amenities of home.

Down the hall are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom consists of a queen bed and a trundle bed. It's considered a 2nd Master bedroom because of its size and has a bathroom attached. A thick down duvet and throw pillows makes this room a bonus. Two more bedrooms are down the hall. Both have  queen beds, with views of the meadow the house sits on. The second floor has the Master Bedroom , another Queen room and a loft . The Master Bedroom is the width of the house with beamed ceilings, King Bed, and windows looking into a forest. Want privacy? The bathroom in the Master is redwood paneled with dbl sink, and 2 person whirlpool bath with 6 jets that is perfect for soaking in after a long day. Another bedroom is down the hall and has a queen bed. The loft has a pool table, TV/VCR, full size hide abed, and a single bed that is on rollers and can be moved throughout the house. Bean- bags chairs, and throw pillow makes this room fun. The house is well appointed and decorated with mountain style artifacts for your enjoyment.
